Welcome to Create Content that Sells
This is your go-to newsletter where I showcase the systems and strategies I use to monetize a 1-person online business through organic content on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn is the no.1 platform for growing your agency and coaching business
I put it just above X (Twitter), Instagram and Facebook, and if you want to grow your brand/business online, LinkedIn is the place to be.
With organic content, you have the ability to reach your audience and ideal clients without spending a dime on ads or back-end costs.
But most founders and life coaches have a basic understanding of organic content on LinkedIn, and how to go about creating this type of content.
In this newsletter, you're getting my personal content calendar to consistently create the right type of content, making it valuable and making sure it aligns with both your brand and business.
Follow this 4-Step Guide:
Build your Notion/Google Sheet
I use Notion for all things content in my business. From content ideas, posting schedules and other related things in one place. Google sheets also works fine.
Use this template before continuing with this system: The LinkedIn OS Playbook (Just scroll down to the bottom)

From the LinkedIn OS Playbook
Create Your Content Category
Here's what my content categories consist of:
Educational Content (to learn)
Promotional Content (to sell)
Storytelling Content (to gain trust)
You'll choose one category per post. I've already filled it out for you in the Notion template above. You're more than welcome to copy the whole LinkedIn OS Playbook and create your own calendar (for more content ideas) with the information already provided.
Now let's get into how this will look like in your weekly content for reference:
Monday: [Personal Image Post] Breaking down a complex strategy (Educate & Grow Audience)
Tuesday: [Personal Image Post] Sharing a simple tip I used for XYZ (Educate, Trust & Authority]
Wednesday: [Newsletter thumbnail] Promote the latest newsletter of the week (Promote & Build Email list)
Thursday: [Screenshot] Show client transformation/results (Trust & Authority)
Friday [Personal Image Post] A day in the life (Trust, Credibility and Follower Growth)
Sunday [Personal Image Post] A story about me (Trust & Credibility)
Your content needs to look like this, even if you're posting 4x times a week. One post to educate, promote, build trust, authority and storytell.
You can use this custom ChatGPT prompt below:
To generate unlimited content ideas.
You are my new content calendar editor. I want you to come up with 30 content ideas I can use for my LinkedIn for the next 30 days. Each piece of content should be tied with a Content Theme + Purpose. 70% of the content must “Personal Image Posts”, 10% “Video” and 20% “Carousel Posts”
Content Themes:
Value Bomb
Authority Builder
Client Win
Deep Dive
Lifestyle
Actionable
Content Purpose:
Grow Following (Gain Authority + Trust)
Obtain Emails
Sell Products/Services
Type of Post:
Carousel Post
Personal Image Post
Normal Image + Text Post
Here's the exact audience I target: [insert audience here]
Here's what I sell: [insert what you sell here]
Here's how I help my audience: [insert what you do]
Give me a copy and paste content strategy for the next 30 days. For the actual post, I want the hook only. Use bold points, use numbers, and be relatable. End each hook with ":".
Here it is and don't forget to fill in the blank spaces for your audience, what you sell and how you help your audience. Ask chatgpt to put it into a table so it makes a lot more sense when creating your content
Make sure to fill in the important information:
How often do you want to post?
Your niché/content topics
Your personality type
This information will be enough to create a well structured content strategy that you can adapt and utilize.
Once that is done, and you've created your 30-Day content strategy. Aim to take at least 5 (well-lit) selfies. You don't want to be using the same picture for each post.
Additional extras…
Your posting timezone should be suitable for the ideal client, not you!
If you're based in South Africa and your potential client is based in the United States, and their timezone is -6 hours behind. Don't post at 08:00am SAST cause their time would be 02:00am in the morning.
I don't think they'll wake up at 02:00am to read your content if we're being honest. They're sleeping at that time.
Also, engage with at least 20 profiles before posting (make sure it's people who engage with your content as well) because you'll be wasting your time if not.
I'm teaching all of this in my LinkedIn x YouTube funnel series.
We've had about 20 views in our first ever LIVE on YouTube.

We are also in the works to create a Skool community, let us know if that would interest you in the comments
See you next week,
Happy Wednesday.
